Scan-Lines is a 4 channel installation, that incorporates symbols of the “house” “cross” “clouds” “Dollar sign”, each video consisting of 45 videos.  45 is the number of ghost scan lines in a video screen that consists of 525 scan-lines of which 45 are invisible.  These “ghost” scan-lines are made available for subtitles and other broadcast information, that is outside of normal viewing.  

45 is a number that is prevalent through the artist’s works.  It’s a number that he’s associated with the invisible information around us.  It’s in forms of micro-aggressions, psychological manipulation, biases, sub-text, symbolism and signs.
