Consisting of the words “I HATE MYSELF” in 3 channels that flicker against rapid cuts of found images.  'I' flckers against images of consumerism.  'HATE' flickers against pornographic images and 'MYSELF' flickers against images of war.  These images equal 1000 images, individually downloaded by the artist.  

The title comes from a Chinese torture method “Lingchi.”  “Death by a thousand cuts” is a torture method that cuts the tortured with many tiny incisions that leave the person alive but in more pain than with a larger cut that would immediately kill the person.
